Buffering is almost always a connection or device issue rather than an app issue. Here's the checklist to work through, in order of how often each one is the actual cause.
1. Use a wired connection if possible
Wi-Fi congestion is the single most common cause of buffering on Android TV boxes and sticks. If your device supports it, a wired Ethernet adapter gives a much more stable connection than Wi-Fi, especially for 4K playback.
2. Lower the streaming quality
LoomiTV adapts quality automatically, but on a slow connection it may still need a moment to catch up. If buffering is frequent, check whether your source offers a lower-bitrate option and manually select it in LoomiTV's playback settings.
3. Check the source, not just the app
Try the same source at the same time on a phone or another device. If it buffers there too, the issue is upstream — your provider or server — rather than LoomiTV or your Android TV device.
4. Clear the app cache
Occasionally, cached data can cause slow channel switching. Go to Android TV Settings → Apps → LoomiTV → Clear Cache, then relaunch the app.
5. Restart your router
It's an old trick because it works — a router that's been running for weeks can develop routing table issues that a simple restart clears up immediately.
