How to Install LoomiTV on Your Samsung Smart TV
If you own a Samsung Smart TV, LoomiTV runs natively on Tizen — no extra box or stick required. Here's the full setup, start to finish.
1. Check your Tizen version
LoomiTV supports Samsung Smart TVs from 2018 onward, running Tizen 5.0 or newer. You can check your TV's software version under Settings → Support → About This TV. If you're on an older model, the app may not appear in your TV's store.
2. Find LoomiTV in the Samsung app store
Open the Apps panel on your Samsung TV, use the search icon, and type "LoomiTV." Select the app and choose Install — it behaves like any other Samsung TV app, so no sideloading or developer mode is needed.
3. Connect your playlist
On first launch, LoomiTV asks for your Xtream Codes login (server, username, password) or an M3U playlist URL. Enter whichever your provider gave you — LoomiTV doesn't come with any source built in, so this step is required before you'll see anything to watch.
- Xtream Codes: you'll need a server address, username, and password.
- M3U: you'll need a single playlist URL, usually ending in .m3u or .m3u8.
4. Navigate with your Samsung remote
LoomiTV's interface is built for D-pad navigation, so your standard Samsung Smart Remote works out of the box — no pointer or extra pairing needed.
Troubleshooting
If LoomiTV doesn't appear in your TV's app store, double-check your Tizen version and your region settings, since app availability can vary slightly by country. If your playlist won't load, re-check your server URL for typos — a missing port number is the most common cause.
